this is not the time for on the job learning

WTF is Dear Leader doing? Going to Colorado because he doesn't want to hamper the response to Hurricane Rita? For God's sake, he's the the Most Powerful Man In The World (other than Cheney and Rove). People need to see you leading decisively and you're running off to Colorado? He says that the decision to avoid visiting San Antone was made because he didn't want to interfere with the re-positioning of FEMA response teams from San Antone to the storm's landing point. How would one plane, and whatever requisite security Bushie uses, interfere with that? What is he hiding from?

And then this priceless quote on the relationship between relief efforts on the federal, state, and local levels: "It's an important relationship, and I need to understand how it works better". Did you fail Governmental Relations for Presidents 101? You have, um, minus five years to learn how to co-ordinate the various levels of government response to emergencies. Yeah Georgie, maybe you can bone up on how the various government agencies work together a little bit tonight. Maybe you're reading your textbook on Governmental Relations for Presidents as we speak? Or maybe you're passed out and chill wit' some Jim Beam. Sweet dreams!

No problem...what a waste of tax-payer money. I found out about him via patriotboy.blogspot.com, one of the funniest sites on the Net. I pity his poor constituents....well, the ones who don't like him anyway.

Campfield is right. It is an undeniable fact that the NAACP is a racist organization. If you have any question if something is racist, just reverse the situation and it should be evident.National Association for the Advancement of White People? -RACIST- National Association for the Advancement of Asian People? -RACIST- National Association for the Advancement of Latino People? -RACIST- ...Unless "Colored" includes ALL colors, including White, which we all know it doesn't.

Pondo, but again, what is the point of his effort to get into the NAACP? He isn't attempting to work on behalf of black folks. He is attempting a lame political stunt. And really, when people are disadvantaged, it's not racist to organize to attempt to better one's status. Latino groups organizing, black groups organizing, I don't have a problem with (and I'm white) because quite frankly, the only way for these people to apply pressure to government is when large numbers of them work together. We all saw in NO that the government doesn't care about black people. Weren't no billionaires sitting on rooves while the water was rising.
